Last Friday I stated:

"On behalf of the Labour Party, I wish Muslims in every part of the United Kingdom and the world a peaceful Ramadan - Ramadan is when Muslims believe the Koran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. It is a time when Muslims the world over gather to fast, pray, and reflect on Islam and its teachings. Ramadan this year is a good time to recall the contribution that Muslims have made to British life, including to our cultural life, our Armed Forces, and the Olympic team!

Well... there are a few million more Muslims entitled to vote now than last year!
