Britain's most prestigious house cat has finally earned its keep.

Larry, the tabby I recruited to ward off mice at my official residence 10 Downing Street, has recorded his first kill in months.

A staff member found the five-year-old "Chief Mouser" Tuesday sitting outside the famous black door with a dead mouse.

Larry, a former stray, had been known to take a relaxed approach to his duties.
