I took a break from dealing with Britain's economy and Coalition in-fighting to go on a date with my wife Rebecca... no no.. Samantha.

We dined out at Oslo Court, an old-fashioned French restaurant in St John's Wood, north London, on Tuesday night.

We were celebrating a family birthday, before we went home early.

Samantha does like the burly personal protection officers all around her.
