What would you do if David Beckham appeared in your photo-booth? For one young fan, Christian Lewis, the sight of his sporting hero was so overwhelming that he broke down in tears of joy. As fans preened and posed in the specially designed booth, minutes away from London's sporting epicentre, Beckham leapt out and joined them in the frame, to rapturous response.

Schoolboy Lewis, who was with his mother, Elaine, burst into tears when Beckham first appeared but made a swift recovery when he was wrapped in a hearty bear hug by his idol and ended his photo-shoot in a jubilant air-punching gesture.
