I'm so sorry to hear that the Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb has died after a long battle with cancer.

The pop legend, who once described his life as being "like a Nintendo game", believing he led a charmed existence with his band the Bee Gees, died aged 62.

He cheated death twice in the mid-1960s, surviving a family car crash in Australia and later a train disaster in London that killed 49 people.

I've performed with him, and want to say he was really good chap!
