I'm planning overseas trade trips to generate London investment after London 2012 Olympics.

Planning for the trips - starting with a visit to India at the end of this year - began long before the Olympics and is not a response to the so-called "Boris bounce" which has seen his political stock rise sharply in the past few weeks.

I have arranged trips to Costa del Sol, New York, the Bahamas, West Indies, and Rome up to now.

Well, someone has to do it!
