Boris Johnson - My Fake Diary
Tuesday, 3 July 2012
Being the Mayor of London, I've come under fire from Labour over figures that show an increase in the number of pedestrian and cyclist deaths in the capital.
Lord Davies of Oldham, a Labour transport spokesman, accused me of following a strategy which prioritises drivers over safety.
Statistics published last week showed 77 pedestrians were killed in 2011, up by 19 from the previous year, while 16 cyclists also lost their lives - the highest figures since 2006.
Huh!
