Boris Johnson - My Fake Diary
Wednesday, 4 July 2012
Two senior figures in my Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime have left suddenly, less than a month before the start of the London Olympic Games!
Catherine Crawford, the chief executive of MOPC and who was previously chief executive of the now defunct Metropolitan police authority, retired after 12 years and left on Friday.
Her deputy, Jane Harwood, also left the same day but no reason has been given for her departure.
Their joint exits appeared to be sudden?
I will be seeking new appointments as soon as possible.
Just before the bloody Olympics too!
