Arsene Wenger - My Fake Diary
Thursday, 31 May 2012
Hornchurch manager Jim McFarlane has beaten Chelsea interim boss Roberto Di Matteo and myself to the title of 'London manager of the Year' in a poll of London newspaper readers and website users.
McFarlane led Hornchurch to promotion after they finished second in the Ryman Premier, just three points behind Billericay. The team won more games than any other in the division, including 15 away wins.
I must send him my congratulations immediately. Perhaps he can give me some advice for next season, or he could loan me a decent centre-half. I hope his players fit into our strict wage structure at the Emirates.
