BEWARE - colicumbers can kill!

The issue of colicumbers and whether they contained Spanish, German or Dutch diseases has been put on the compost heap where it is hotting up.

With lettuces and tomatoes joining in the great FEAR factor eating any vegetables now has become more risky than crossing the road!

Spanish gardeners are furious with the Germans who first spread the news with their mayonnaise sandwiches. Thousands of colicukes have bitten the dust as whole crops were discarded in Andialooseear. But now the Germans are not sure the cukes were behind the coli outbreak after all.

World food supermum, Delia Scmitt, admitted that preparing food at this time of crisis was a frightening affair. She recommends only eating nuts and berries and canaries whilst drinking just water until the SCARE is over.

Meanwhile journalists have been toasting colicumbers, toxic tomatoes and lethal lettuces for the splurge of tasty news which is just falling onto their plates.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
