Has the Loch Ness Monster finally been killed? A Scottish fisherman by the name of Angus McTwinkle claims he caught the monster on Monday but then had to kill it and leave it to sink to the bottom of the Loch.
"I called out a warning for Nessie to give up without a struggle," he claims "but the warning was ignored. Sadly I was left with no choice but to kill the beast because otherwise it could have easily swallowed me and my boat in one gulp. I threw an empty bottle of scotch at it hitting the beast between the eyes. It was dead, no doubt about that."
Fortunately Angus just happened to have a camera with him so he was able to take a picture of dead Nessie before it sank to it's watery grave (see picture).
"It was lucky I had the camera with me" he admits, "because otherwise nobody would ever have believed me"
In other news America's President Obama announced the death of wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden claiming he'd been shot dead in Pakistan, also on Monday, by elite American forces. Apparently they also just happened to have a camera with them.
After the snaps Bin Laden was given a burial at sea.
