Plans for a lasting democracy in Egypt were dealt a mortal blow today as President Obama landed in the countries capital Cairo today.
The President, who has failed to give any further announcements since his recent white house address that shocked the world, made his way immediately from air force one to join a secure camel convoy. Although his destination is a closely guarded secret, local reports suggest that it is somewhere out in the deep desert.
Abdul Arraket, a local fish trader said:
"He was with a group of priests in traditional raiment and what looked like many young local girls. I heard that many families willingly gave their eldest daughters to the procession. Some say it is a custom not seen for thousands of years. Many people believe that the greatest secrets of Egypt are still hidden out there in the sands. It all looked very shifty"
