Ten thousand people have taken to the streets in Egypt in an attempt to try to convince the government to ban Meerkat Kebabs. The discovery that Meerkat meat has been used in the tasty midnight snack for years has caused outrage, not just in Egypt but throughout the whole world.

Rioters have taken to the streets in over 10 cities around the world in an attempt to support Alexandr Meerkats campaign. His new slogan of "Don't Kebab the Meerkat" is being chanted all across the world.

Alexandr is said to be very sad that the protests in Egypt have turned violent but he said "It will all be worth it in the end if it helps to save one of my relatives from the kebab skewer"

The Queen has offered her sympathies and said she will support Alexandr's campaign by wearing a "Don't Kebab the Meerkat" T-shirt to the Royal Wedding.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
