The offending Meatloaf CD

A family has sued their local church after an incorrect piece of music was played during their mother's funeral.

The Piddington family had requested "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler to see their mother off but were instead treated to "Bat out of Hell" by Meatloaf.

Kelvin Piddington was understandably distraught at the error, "My mother had always wanted Bette Midler at her funeral. To have her leave the church to "Bat out of Hell" was completely inappropriate."

Reverend R. Everend who took the service apologised for the gross error.

He explained, "The Piddington family had requested a song by Bette Midler, which was Track 3 from CD 1. Unfortunately our resident nun played Track 3 from CD 2. It is an easy, yet unacceptable error to make. The nun in question has been fined and stripped of her habit for the mistake."

Despite being offered a "2 for 1 funeral deal" as compensation, the Piddington family intend to take the case all the way to Judge Judy's courtroom.

"This is the perfect case for Judge Judy" said Pam Piddington, "We clearly expect her to rule in our favour. My mother can only die once, so there's no chance of us having another crack at her funeral."

The Piddington's case will appear on Judge Judy during November this year.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
