Labour party spin doctors have announced what might prove to be a highly controversial tactic in an attempt to show Gordon Brown in a family friendly light and which will, they hope, counteract the widely held perception he is an ill-mannered grumpy old bastard.
The Prime minister is to be shown breast feeding his son during the TV debates with David Cameron and Nick Clegg.
Labour spin doctors admit being sceptical when the Idea was put forward by the Prime Minister but his enthusiasm and keenness for the event eventually won them over.
It seems the idea went exceptionally well in the regular weekly rehearsals with Peter Mandledson taking the part of Gordon's son.
A Labour party spokesperson said " We believe this will show the softer side of Gordon, the Modern man, the Family friendly man. We can't wait for the first debate...'The breast is yet to come' !!"
Nick Clegg commented " Vince Cable could do it much better."
While David Cameron said " Brown has been exposing himself more and more in the past week but this is going too far. I think I am going to be sick."
