It did say it was a skeleton competition

At the Skeleton World cup in Koenigsee in Germany a skeleton turned up to take part but was denied entry to the competition the skeleton obviously got the wrong idea.

Officials banned the skeleton known as Mary Bones from the competition and explained that a skeleton competition is a winter sport where competitors on a small sledge try to achieve the fastest possible time on a snow covered course.

Mary Bones although disappointed returned to her home in Glencoe in Scotland but then spotted an advertisement in a newspaper for a supermarket looking for temporary staff as due to the weather they were operating on a skeleton staff.

Poor Mary got the wrong idea again and never got the job.

After travelling to Germany and back and trying unsuccessfully to get a job Mary is now skint.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
