SOMEWHERE NEAR CHICAGO, US - A writer for online satire sensation TheSpoof.com has announced her engagement to yummy actor David Tennant, best known for his intense portrayal of the 10th incarnation of The Doctor in the seminal British sci-fi series, "Doctor Who."
The "bride," Geneva Slim, stated that she's never been happier or more deluded. "I've dreamt about this for so long, and now it's finally happened. Of course, it would be even better if David were here, or even knew about the engagement, but as I always say, all in good Time, Lord!"
While details of the nuptials are sketchy, the bride says she will be wearing a straitjacket of Bavarian lace from the Vera Wang Sanitorium Collection, and attended by special friends Rose Tyler and Martha Jones. Ms. Slim further babbled that the groom can wear whatever he'd like, as he won't be in it for very long.
Ms. Slim concluded, "David and I will honeymoon either on the planet Bleen or in the TARDIS."
Mr. Tennant could not be reached for comment. He is presumed to be terrified and in hiding in the UK.
