Beijing - China announced today that they plan to begin bar-coding infants. The bar-codes will be tattooed on newborns' foreheads and replace traditional names such as Tam, Yang and Ming which Chinese officials say are obsolete and provide little help differentiating individuals now that population in the colosus has exceeded one billion.

"Every new baby will have their identity uploaded to Facebook before they leave the hospital."
China plans on releasing a new generation of cell phones with bar-code readers built into them so people will be able to identify each other and view each other's personal data without requiring social interaction.
