The Swine Flu Toll in Pertia has now reached 5 after a recent case was discovered.
The latest case was an 18 year old Year 12 student at Pertia Secondary College. During classtime hours at 12 noon, all students were at class and the 18 year old girl was sick during tests. The teacher said that her interruption was unacceptable and the class was up for vaccines to test for Swine Flu. The girl was still at school when her results came back positive. The girl tested positive and the girl and her family, classroom students and classroom teachers are now under quarantine and given Tamiflu.
The second and third case of Swine Flu was discovered just hours ago. The newborn baby girl was born after finding out the baby and the mother of the baby were tested positive against Swine Flu. The newborn and the mother are under quarantine and it's estimated that the baby got the virus from her mother.
The fourth case was a library teacher at St. Ridgio Secondary College. The teacher was sick during school hours while teaching a Year 7 class. The teacher was suffering from nausea and rushed outside and into the First Aid Room. The teacher was vaccinated and tested positive against Swine Flu.
In the past lot of hours, many people have been rushed to hospital and vaccined. Some of these people tested negative to the virus and most of them are yet to be processed.
