After sucking up to Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin and threatening to hug her, Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari has now put the moves on India's PM, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
As an embarrassed Dr. Singh tried to pull away from a deep embrace, a gushing, badly-rhyming Zardari sang: "I love you truly, truly true. You are my hero, Dr. Singh in blue".
Cheered on by an American media that has of late found itself mired in boring political/economic issues, Zardari provided many laughs.
"Look how my hero is blushing", he cooed as he kissed and hugged Dr. Singh. "I want to become a famous leader just like him and am willing to make major concessions on the Kashmir issue just to sit at his feet and drink from his fountain of intelligence".
The Pakistani media is said to have flown back to Islamabad in a huff, having declared "We are not amused".
