Troubled songstress Amy Winehouse has today changed her name by deed poll to 'Troubled' in an attempt to help the press define her current troubled circumstances.
The tag-name 'Troubled' was originally tagged on to Britney Spears, until her craziness got too insane to merit such a tame word. Recent tag-names for Britney have included,loopy, crazy, mentalist, round the twist, crazed and mad, or all of these together.
In a press statement today Troubled Winehouse announced her change of name and stated that she had changed it as it was all she heard these days anyway, even her mum has apparantly started calling her Troubled. "Its better than crack-whore, rehab-girl or skinny crack-head," said Troubled.
The name Troubled originates from Ireland, where during a civil war raging since approximately 1922, the two sides known as the Loyalists and Provisionals have blasted, bombed and slaughtered each other by various means. in the U.K this bloody, prolonged war was known as the "Troubles" so the British government could play it down a bit.
Troubled Winehouse will be playing her latest hit, "I'm Troubled" at the Brits this year.
