Following the 'silliness' stand-still caused by the recent writer's strike in Hollywood comes word of the resurgence of Saddam Hussein's tribesman, Comical Ali. One of the main jokers in the US's infamous "Deck of Cards", Comical, has been reborn in Pakistan as (Brigadier, retired) Javed Iqbal Cheema.

Ex-military guy, former Minister and now Court Jester for the Mushy regime or 'Spokesman for the Pakistani Ministry of Silly Jokes and Dirty Lies' as his calling card indicates, Comical Cheema made his first appearance on the international scene with his riveting monologue - "Rapid-fire Conclusions on the death of Ms. Bhutto".

Licking his lying lips, struggling like a starving Soviet gymnast turning cartwheels, Comical Cheema lurched from one quick headline to another - "Death by Tugging"; "Death by Sunroof Lever", "Death by choosing to poke head through sunroof" and "Death by dying".

He then went on to 'produce evidence' of "intelligence intercepts", in the form of a typewritten transcript of an old Mel Brooks tape which he played backwards and tried to pass off as "conversations between militant Al-Qaedan Mehsud and guess who!".

Said late night host and fellow comic Jay Leno after watching the CNN report, "I laughed so hard I cried. Somebody hire this guy".
