Ahmadinejad Trying New 'Ride'

Through a spokesman, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has just announced that he is expected to begin his new job as an NYC cab driver on Wednesday, following an appearance at a forum at Columbia University on Monday and addresses the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.

Even though he has yet to arrive in New York, Ahmadinejad's visit has already stirred controversy

At a press conference held earlier today in Washington, White House Spokesman Tony Fratto responded to a question in regards to President Bush's reaction to Ahmadinejad's request to go to Ground Zero to lay a wreath. He said that the while President strongly objects to Ahmadinejad visiting Ground Zero, he had no objections to him working as a cabbie because "it's not uncommon to see an Iranian driving a cab in New York City."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
