CCN (Crazy Cal News) - Dublin - An avid Guiliani supporter, going by the handle "Ethan," wrote a message to TheSpoof.com asking that they please quit writing stories about Ron Paul. In his message, he wrote,
- "I am a fairly avid Ron Paul supporter. Whenever I search for Ron Paul on Google News, a story from The Spoof shows up. The problem is these stories are never funny. They are not provocative. They don't have a message. It is simply bad writing. It is as if the stories are written only so people like me will happen upon them.
I would like to invite Ethan to write his own story if he thinks ours are not funny, provocative, or don't have a message. Perhaps he (or she as the case may be) just can't understand the message?
He, she, or it as the case may be, also wrote,
- Today's article was called "Ron Paul Dead?". The article was about how Ron Paul might have died at a bakery. There was some nonsensical writing followed by a proclamation that he is not dead. Does anyone find any of this funny ever?
I fell out of my chair laughing. I thought that it was a take on the old "Paul is Dead" routine. Perhaps Ethan forgot to play the article backwards?
The writer of the letter proved itself an avid Guiliani supporter when he wrote, "I implore the writers at the Spoof to stop. Please stop writing Ron Paul stories. They get in the way of anything useful I might be able to read about Dr. Paul. Furthermore, it seems like you should simply stop writing the spoof. I have never found a funny article here. Not once. You are wasting your time and embarrassing yourselves.
He (she, or it) obviously doesn't like the attention that Ron Paul is getting from TheSpoof.com articles. Here are some of the hits that Cal Jennings' articles for Ron Paul got:
Neocons Can't Count Past 600 1150
John McCain Terrified of Ron Paul! 1016
YouTube Censors Ron Paul Videos 1594
Paris Hilton Feels Humiliated 2015
Vegas Going Broke as Ron Paul's Odds Improve! 1326
Obviously, the Ron Paul stories aren't hurting the Ron Paul campaign and they get almost as many hits as Paris Hilton alone. Ethan is what some of us call a "Troll." He tries to pose as a Ron Paul supporter and does whatever he can to undermine the Ron Paul campaign. Fortunately for freedom lovers, his tactics don't work. In fact, his tactics won two more Ron Paul supporters.
