South Korea. Alex Peterson, 27, earned his Master's Degree in Education last Spring and decided that he would dive into a life full of excitement and adventure by teaching overseas. After spending so many years reading books and studying, Alex felt the need to see and explore the rest of the world. His personal goal was to leave his home state of Wisconsin and have an amazing professional career as an International Educator.
After graduating with High Honors, he chose South Korea as an excellent place to begin his new journey. With a well-constructed resume and a successful telephone interview, Alex was immediately hired by an outstanding International School near Changwon City to teach English and Social Studies. He arrived in South Korea several weeks before the beginning of the school year so that he could spend some time planning lessons and learning the Korean language.
As a physically fit individual who enjoys strenuous activities such as hiking and lifting weights (and who can even bench-press an amazing 320 pounds), Alex soon found himself exploring the numerous trails and paths of the mountainous area surrounding the city.
On a blissful Sunday evening, he had just finished hiking an extremely long mountain trail when he saw something that stopped him dead in his tracks and made him run for his life.
Lead reporter, Vanessa Grey, recently caught the 'still-traumatized' young man outside of his parents' home in Wisconsin to ask him what he saw.
"It was a really big spider," he told her.
"It was in the middle of a web between two bushes at the base of the mountain I had just hiked. It was the size of a baseball, it was green, and it looked right at me!" the muscle-built, 27-year-old further added while shaking intensely as tears rolled down his face.
When asked what his initial reaction was, Alex said that he screamed like a 5-year-old girl, threw up, and lost complete control of his bodily functions.
"I peed in my pants," he told Vanessa. "And because I was so terrified, some poop also came out."
He then stated that he ran back to his apartment in Korea with several chunks of poop bouncing around in his pants, sat down at his desk before changing himself, and immediately booked a flight back to Wisconsin.
Alex Peterson is currently single and looking for a girlfriend who will read pleasant stories to him before he goes to sleep at night.
