Publicist, Rex Clifftop, has claimed that he will reveal the new mother of God in this weekend's News of the World.
Clifftop, whose clients have been all types of nutters in the past, is adamant that this is the real deal. He told The Spoof:
"This girl came to me several moths ago and told me she had had an immaculate conception and she was pregnant and carrying a child who will, when born, become the second coming of the Son of God on Earth.
Well of course at the start I thought it was a load of old cobblers but now I know, and I can't go into detail at present how I know, but just let's say that it's for real. You'll know what I'm on about when you see the paper on Sunday"
Pop Svengali, Simon Cowell, is keen to snap up the mystery woman to record songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar, and if successful with his plan then the album is sure to top the charts for weeks to come.
The Spoof is holding back commenting on Clifftop's claims until at least January 7th as we all remember some of the nonsense that he has championed in the past.
