A Englishman man living in the Thai capital of Bangkok has revealed how he wrote and published a story on satirical news website TheSpoof.com simply to try to make himself feel better, 'cheer himself up', and to alleviate symptoms of 'pure and unadulterated boredom'.
Moys Kenwood, from Hull in East Yorkshire, has been living in the Asian metropolis for six-and-a-half years, and has 'just about had enough', according to sources.
He visited the 'news' site on Tuesday to contribute to the Acronym Game in the forum, but became so anxious, that he decided to add a meaningless story to his ever-growing compendium of useless, tedious and pointless offerings-so-far.
Kenwood has published more than 2,410 items on The Spoof thus far (2,411), and often claims to have written his last one, something others on the site hope he will keep his word on.
The Hull dolt, contacted by The Spoof administrators by email, said:
"I was bored to tears, and thought the only way to cheer myself up would be to pen some more senseless drivel, and that is precisely what I did."
