They've dumped three 'old motors' up there

NASA has today been branded the 'dirty man' of space. In a withering attack pop-eyed, wild-haired astronomer Sir Patrick Moore has branded the agency a total disgrace.

Sir Moore speaking from his home in Selsey told The Spoof:

"Well you know it's a total disgrace! All those poisonous gasses every time the Space Shuttle takes off and that's not the half of it. Just look at what they've done to the Moon.

"They've dumped three 'old motors' up there at least to my knowledge and that's before you start to count the bottom halves of Lunar Landers, American flags, golf balls and God knows what else! Why couldn't they take this stuff to the tip, hold a garage sale or else pay some Pikeys to deal with it like the rest of us have to do?"

As he warmed to his subject the manic Sir moon-mapper looked like he was about to explode before our eyes.

Then suddenly the scary scientist screamed "And listen to this!" Before treating our reporter to a rendition of the Boney M classic "Rivers of Babylon" that he played, virtuoso style, on the xylophone.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
