Israel have been handed a yellow card in their match against Gaza. The ref thought the tackling of four children was a little off limits and warned Israel that next time they will get...another yellow card.
The ref explained to an angry Israeli audience that, although children could in future be a threat to the existence of Israel it was premature to eradicate them so young.
'A tough tackle may be allowed' he explained 'but blowing children to smithereens was over the top'.
In London the committee looking into child abuse have said pictures of the children being eliminated were an example of where to 'draw the line'. It was felt that those who perpetrated such acts of violence on children should be punished. They went on to praise the referee for his decision to hand a yellow card to the Israeli authorities.
