TOKELAU, NZ (CWTS World News) -- Cray Zeeman, a person with schizophrenia, was shot by a police officer that also had schizophrenia after going on a rampage in a gasoline station.
According to the gasoline station's cashier and some CCTV camera footages courtesy of the said gasoline station, Zeeman broke the two-way mirror and went in the cashier's counter while wielding a bloody desecrated athame. The cashier and a gasoline boy ran away out of panic.
Minutes later, Zeeman is with his uncle, while a police officer, which also has schizophrenia, followed them. Zeeman's uncle tried to explain to the police officer regarding Zeeman's condition, but the police officer shot Zeeman at the shoulder with a 45-caliber revolver.
Zeeman was brought to the nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The Tokelau police force are currently investigating this matter.
