Notorious American actress, Lindsay Lohan, has announced she is running for the Presidency in 2012. With her court imposed ankle bracelet showing proudly on her tanned legs, the 24 year old stated that she was more widely known than Mitt Romney and Newt Gringrich, the Republican candidates so far announcing their intentions.
Lohan says she is seeking to "change America" and wants to remove laws that restrict or ban alcohol abuse, drug consumption and generally being a spoilt brat. "C'mon America, let's party!!!" she bellowed at the end of her statement.
Police then directed Lohan to a waiting van, arresting and charging her with being a public nuisance and making statements that endangered the general public.
