Portland, Ohio - "The Tragedy of Macbeth" was performed by local residents in the town of Portland, Ohio. The play went smoothly besides the man playing the character of Macbeth.

Jeremy Lang played the role of Macbeth in his sixth grade play, and reprised his role at the community theater this weekend at the age of twenty-five.

Video footage from his mom's video camera shows a twelve-year old Jeremy playing the role of Macbeth, but honestly sucked at it. "He was shaking and could not remember any of his lines; he didn't even stay in character the whole time." Jeremy's mom said about the video.

Thirteen years later, Jeremy was given another chance, but forgot his lines as he walked up on stage.

Messing up simple lines such as "Fair is foul, and foul is fair" with "Hair is an owl, and an owl is hair", he simply did just as bad as he did in sixth grade when he mixed up "What's done is done" with "Summer is Fun and Fun."

"I don't get how anyone can mess up simple lines like that" said David Koll who is a Portland resident. "His lines didn't even make sense."

The director of the play released this statement: "I apologize if his amateur acting offended anyone, I promise you that I will take more precautions in the future when I am casting people. I did not see his sixth grade performance video until after I chose him to play the role of Macbeth."

Many of the cast members were upset about his performance. The cast went out afterwards to get pizza and did not invite Jeremy to join along.

Elizabeth Hocker, who played the role of Lady Macbeth, told reporters that "He ruined everything and I never want to see him again."

Jeremy Lang was forced to move out of town after the bank manger of the bank that owns his house foreclosed his home because of the bad performance.

Luckily for this town, there was no angry mob.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
