New York NY: Two diverse lawsuits have been filed in federal district court against the National Football League (NFL). The separate lawsuits involve the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), respectively.
The first lawsuit brought by the KKK alleges that white quarterbacks (QB) in the NFL are being bullied by black defensive team linemen or offensive team blockers. KKK lawyers assert that a 150 pound QB being sacked by two to five 300 pound opposing team players is harassment. Furthermore, they say 70% of the NFL players are black and most QBs are white.
The second lawsuit brought by the NAACP alleges that black QBs in the NFL are being discriminated against, as there is less than a handful actually playing. Furthermore, they say 70% of the NFL players are black and most QBs are white.
Phone calls to NFL officials, the federal district court and the US Supreme Court have not been returned!
