A Muslim woman, from New York, has gone on record to defend her right to bear arms, citing the freedom originally set out in the Second Amendment To The Constitution Of The United States.
However, it appears that the phrase may have been lost in translation.
Iranian, Jeissikah Rabbat, 24, who speaks no English, or even American or Canadian, misunderstood the term as the right to 'BARE her Arms.'
Local resident Bob Hoskins said "I used to see Jessikah around. Well I think it was her anyway. I couldn't tell under that burkha. Anyway, one day she was dressed from head to toe in black. The next, she had ripped the sleeves off her garment. Nice arms though" he added.
Local Mayor, Muslim Cleric Kemal Ghuddafi said "It appears that Jessikah sadly misinterpreted the rules of this great country. He continued "It would have been perfectly acceptable for her to have carried a rifle or perhaps a set of kitchen knives. Even a bag of grenades. However, showing limbs in public, even a wrist, causes untold offence."
Ms Rabbat was later stoned to death on Broadway.
