Police were called to the Six Flags Great America Park in Illinois to investigate a reported beating of the Porky Pig character by two off-duty park workers.
There was some kind of beef (no pun intended) between the parties that resulted in the pig getting the crap beaten out of him, er her. The person inside the costume turned out to be a female.
"Be-dee be-dee be-all I know is those two be-dee be-bullies s-snuck up on me and be-dee be-dee be-dee be-hit me in the snout," said the pig.
The two off-duty park workers were dressed as pigs as well, and were apparently part of the three pigs show, a less-popular entertainment feature of the park. They say they found out that the Porky Pig character was making snide comments behind their backs calling them the other white meat. The two workers were black.
The assaulting pigs were taken to jail and Porky was taken to the emergency room for follow-up care. She is expected to be-dee-be-dee-ba-be back on the j-job tomo, tomor, tomor, Friday.
