After years of speculation it has been revealed under the Freedom of Information Act that Senator Joe Liebermann of Connecticut really is the guy who played the father in the NBC hit series, "ALF."

The show featured a cute little puppet that seemed to be part dog, and part Muppet, yet could speak perfect American English. The name, "ALF," was actually an acronym which stood for, "Alien Life Form."

The father, played by Senator Joe Liebermann, always spoke to ALF in a droopy monotone which seemed to indicate that suicide was just around the corner. In a classic episode, ALF is seen shoving handfuls of anti-depressants down Liebermann's throat until the police, paramedics and FBI secret agents arrive to take him to Area 51 in the Nevada desert.

No one knew exactly what became of the man who played the father until now.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
