Overages are $10 a Gig? SHAZAM!!!

God announced today that He will smite the evil overlords at TT&A, who said Wednesday that it is moving to a metered pricing plan for its smartphones, phasing out unlimited data usage for new customers.

TT&A also states that new iPad customers are completely assed-out as well.

TT&A used to have an awesome, $29.99 per month unlimited data plan for the iPad. Yay unlimited data. However, they are replacing it with their appropriately named "Sh-tty Plan B"; $25 per month for a whopping 2GB,

"For new iPad customers, the $25 per month 2 GB plan will replace the existing $29.99 unlimited plan," TT&A said. "iPad customers will continue to pre-pay for their wireless data plan and no contract is required. Existing iPad customers who have the $29.99 per month unlimited plan can keep that plan or switch to the new $25 per month plan with 2 GB of data." After the 2GB, you'll have to pay TT&A TEN DOLLARS PER GB!

"Ass boils to begin with," said the Creator, while vacationing at Camp St. David. "Then I'll pull out the big guns. Locusts, flesh eating bacteria, Olivia Newton John breaking onto the pop charts. Even Leprosy. I haven't used that one in a while."

Here are some of the other TT&A options that brought the wrath of the Almighty onto the company:

"Slightly Sh-ttier DataPlus Plan A": A dial-up worthy 200MB of data for $15 per month. Overages come in the form of an additional SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS PER GB!(as additional 200MB blocks for $15 each.)

"Sh-tty Plan B" 2GB of data (not 5GB, like the previous cap) for $25 per month. Overages are billed in 1GB increments for $10 each.

Tethering: Anyone who wants to use their phone as a laptop modem--including iPhone customers--can do so for an additional $20 per month.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
