New Orleans, LA - Louisiana Governor, Bobby Jindal, who obviously has no clue how wind turbine technology works, asked his energy secretary to "pull out all those wind turbines we have in storage right away and start erecting them along the coast." Jindal believed that the turbines would be helpful in keeping the oil slick that is threatening Louisiana's coastline at bay at least for a little while.
However, no one in Jindal's office bothered to read the instructions that came with the humongous wind turbines before they installed them; and now, instead of pushing the oil slick away from the shoreline, the turbines are actually helping steer the oil slick closer to land at a quicker pace.
"They look like giant fans to me, dammit," said Jindal. "Why the hell don't people stop me before I do things like this?"
