Canadian forces have launched a daring Invasion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Dressed in green suits they chose March 17th to cross the Poe Locks into Sault St. Marie.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm was quoted as saying, "I thought the U P was already Canadian." The Canadian general who spearheaded the invasion said that he plans to "Give'em Hell!".

Asked to clarify this remark, he said, "Well, we'll be in Lansing by the weekend, and we plan to give them the town of Hell (a few miles west of Pinckney Michigan) for a temporary capital, so they can surrender or apologize or whatever they call it.

Asked how he could justify an invasion of U S territory, he said, "It's all the jokes about Canadians and the Olympics, ehh?".

"We just snapped!" When asked, "How about Detroit?", he said, "It's going back to the old pronunciation D'etroit or (Day-Twat), they'll have to get used to that, ehh?" When ask about any resistance, he said, "We saw a few squirrels and a brown bear, but the whole place was deserted, ehh?"
