Well here it is, believe or not, an elephant has sunk in a local swimming pool in the Beverly Hills suburb near Los Angeles.
The elephant displayed some odd behavior, including eating some chocolate, but refusing to eat a "nice, healthy salad."
Witnesses saw the elephant going into the swimming for an apparent "drink of water" but the chlorine in the pool caused the elephant to lose its sense of balance temporarily.
The elephant, named Sandranino, after its trainer's friend, lost its balance and slipped into the pool.
The elephant than sank, probably because the elephant was too heavy because it ate 1000 chocolate Hershey bars!
