Los Angeles, California. LAPD officials have received further communications from the alleged kidnappers of CBS News readers two weeks ago. Police released details of one email sent to them that contained an open threat to starve their hostages if there wasn't an instant delivery of McDonald's fast food to them.
Police are unable to explain this wanton fixation that these kidnappers have for burgers and fries from the "Golden Arches". "May be they are just using us to fill their insatiable need for fast food" said Supt Ted Bundy, leader of the Police team tracking down the CBS newsreaders.
In other emails, they threatened to not watch any episodes of Grays Anatomy, a CBS programme very popular in the 'States. The Police were forced to sit up and take notice.
The CBS newsreaders are said to be in good condition but obviously yearning for something more edifying than Big Macs and hot apple pies.
