In a slogan eerily similar to the statement of Marie Antoinette, wife of KIng Louis XV1 of France 1774-1791, when she said "Let them eat cake" the T-Baggers have announced a new campaign to target those that receive any form of government entitlements.
"Let Them Eat Pop Tarts" will be seen on signs and billboards across the country as the volunteers fan out to unemployment offices, food stamp distribution points, and sites of foreclosed homes.
According to a spokesperson: "We intend to shame these deadbeats and we will follow them wherever they have their greedy hands out. We know that those that are thrown out of their homes will be showing up to get every government nickel they can get. Our women folk will be there in their lawn chairs, knitting away and laughing as they're dragged off. We need to have some fun too."
When asked about one of the signs that read...."You can give people something to eat..or you can give them a bow and arrow and teach them to hunt" the spokesperson said "Damn betcha...most of these folks were just cannibals to begin with...let THEM go back to their roots" When the interviewer pointed out that the Indians had bows and arrows and became almost extinct...he replied with a chuckle..."You got that right!"
The new program seems to be bringing new life to the T-Bagger movement as thousands have volunteered to hit the streets of America to shame their fellow Americans. When asked if these actions might actually hurt their cause, the spokesperson replied with a guffaw...."Ain't nothin we're gonna lose our heads over"
