Following the devastating failure of Chicago's olympic bid for 2016, a bid endorsed by the President and the First Lady in person in Copenhagen, the Obamas celebrated their seventeenth wedding anniversary in understated style by having a curry in a Georgetown curry house.
Bazza and Meesh, as they are affectionately known in Newcastle, England, reportedly had Turkish kebab cutter and chef, Ali Bullo flown in from the UK to rustle up a really hot vindaloo.
"I used corn fed chicken. Fresh," Ali Bullo told us. "Is best. Plenty hot chilli. Scotch Bonnet. Bazza and Meesh liking curry hot hot hot! They wash down with lots of plenty cold Tiger beer. Asian. Authentic. Very good!"
We asked Ali Bullo how the Obamas reacted to the devastating blow of their home town losing out in the first round of the Olympic vote.
"Them a little bit down right now. But in morning, when whole world falls out from their arses, they be too busy in the crapper to be getting vexed over anything else."
