The White house today has released a statement denying any knowledge of Barack Obama's father's secret past in the KGB.
Diplomatic sources told Spoof the Presidencies team were "concerned" after the potentially career damaging story has made it to front page news.
But the White house has released a statement describing the story as 'nothing more than a vicious playground rumour'.
The alleged rumour came to light when parents at the Private Sidwell Friends School became concerned that their children where coming home and detailing horrific stories of torture and treason, which reportedly they were being told, in great detail, by Malia Ann Obama, Barack Obama's eldest daughter.
A Concerned parent told Spoof 'The stories involved tragic events from the past 30 years of Americas history'.
Malia Ann told friends a few of the bedtime stories which her Kenyan born Grandfather used to tell her. The main story which has sparked investigation was of a 'KGB Secret Agent who was Kenyan Born, moved to America and Gave birth to a son who would later become one of the most powerful men in the world'. Sound Familiar? That's what we thought.
When we contacted the KGB about the issue we received the following response "We do not make a habit of revealing the identities of our past agents however on this occasion I am pleased to confirm that this 'Playground Rumour' is infact true"
A spokesman for the White House said: "Any stories that suggest any member of President Obama's family has been involved in treason against the United States of America are totally absurd" Even though Obama has previously said "Big Mac's are a bit rubbish!"
"We would add that President Obama and his daughter Malia Ann Obama have a terrific relationship with each other, and their Kenyan Father/Grandfather, they speak regularly on a range of subjects although the Grandad seems keen on talking about matters of State and America's defense plans often with a dictaphone on the table, which he claims is an ancient Kenyan tradition ".
Spoof's fellow journalist FBI AL said the whole episode revealed how keen certain groups of people like to play "the Obama family failure card" before their annual family get together on Sunday at the Playboy Mansion. Hugh Heffner and most of the Playboy Bunnies have chosen not to comment on this topic but Miss April (previously Miss June and Miss December) said of the matter " well anyone from that family can KGBe mine!"
