Despite trillions of dollars of debt, struggling attempts at something very similar to socialized healthcare, and more troubles than you can, quote, "shake a stick at," the United States Congress has found an even more important issue that needs to be addressed immediately.
Global warming? No way. Congress plans on ignoring emissions this year. Instead, every member of both houses is consumed by a passion to address Joe Wilson's outburst at a recent Presidential address. Everyone agrees, Joe Wilson should be tarred and feathered, and his right to represent the people he was speaking out for is on suspension until the next election.
What no one is clear about is why there is so much outrage towards Joe's simple 2 word remark. Careful analysis indicates that the President may indeed have been lying at the time of the outburst, so false accusations can't be it. And similar outbursts and worse have been uttered by American Politicians you have actually heard of, without debate or reprimand, including such notables as Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.
