Tempe, AZ -The right wing pastor of the Faithful Word Baptist Church who hopes that "God strikes Barack Obama with brain cancer so he can die like Ted Kennedy" has published a book of Christian based bedtime prayers for children.
Pastor Steven Anderson, who prays nightly that President Obama "dies and goes to hell" hopes to expose children to the benefits of what he calls "spiritual warfare."
"Most parents don't realize the pressures kids face each day because kids don't like to talk about their problems" said Pastor Anderson. "I teach children the practical applications of resolving conflicts through prayer and reinforce the fact that they can get stuff off their chests by taking their problems directly to God through prayer at bedtime.
"For example, let's say you have 3rd grader who is getting bullied at school. There is a bedtime prayer in my book that the child can use to ask God to disembowel the the bully. There is one that ask Gods to inflict the child's adversary with festering boils and another that asks God to afflict the bully with tumors in his "secret places."
"We have an entire chapter of prayers devoted to plagues...ants, frogs, locusts and so on and another chapter devoted to different ways of having the earth open up and swallow the bully whole. All stuff kids can relate to and of course we include the standard "pillar of salt" prayer.
"We need to help take the pressure off the kids and get them to realize they can "let go and let God" kill or maim those they disagree with rather than taking matters into their own hands."
