Vice Presedential Candidate Sarah Palin has resigned as Governor of Alaska 18 months before the end of her term in office. It is believed she did not want to go through another period of six months being kept in the dark.
Alaska has 6 months of daylight and six months of darkness because the earths axis's is tilted.
Mrs Palin has apparently got some financial problems and some people have even accused her of being corrupt.
A spokesperson for Mrs Palin Jerry Stewart was asked does Mrs Palin have any regrets about leaving the job early. Mr Stewart replied "Al ask her"
