During a sunrise raid by the US immigration office, agents discovered a dead body in the OK fortune cookie plant. According to reports he had apparently been trapped for years and had sent thousands of messages for help.
Tragically the "Help I am trapped in a fortune cookie factory" fortune was never taken seriously by restaurant patrons.
Immigration reported that it appeared he had been trapped inside the folding room. During some remodeling two years ago the door to that area was closed up and painted over.
"It's amazing he lasted so long," reported agent Curtis Mayfield. "There was only a sink and a small window, the poor bastard... His only communication with the outside world was that conveyor of cookie dough and that supply of fortunes."
A memorial service for the as yet unidentified worker will be held at the OK Chinese food restaurant at 4th and La Brea in downtown Los Angeles this Friday
