President Barak Obama has sensationally phoned in sick on his first day in office, White House sources reveal.
"Mrs Obama rang and said that the President had got a bit carried away celebrating last night. Apparently he'd drunk a bottle and a half of tequila before moving on into town to get some real action," said an un-named White House insider.
"Obama and his aides finished up in the well-known Raspberry Ripples lap-dancing bar, before arriving home at 4.30am with a kebab stuck to the side of his head," the insider continnued.
Apparently the President should be back in work "later this week sometime" and hopes to have the US economy back on track by Saturday morning.
