Fort Worth, Texas - (Superstitious Mess): A serpentological fundamentalist nutters church (sick) is over the moon at the quashing of torture and abuse damages by the Texas Supreme Court.
This week's ruling has stated that kidnapping a vulnerable seventeen year old girl, terrifying her into a brainwashing 'exorcism' and subjecting her to medieval forms of torture outlawed by every civilised country on the face of the earth is entirely 'constitutional' for the preposterous cult.
In quashing $188,000 damages upheld by a previous court adjudication the Texas Supreme Court voted 6-3 that it was the silly girl's own fault and that the exorcism was entirely justified.
"She let her delusions about some 'sinister' members of the congregation get out of hand," the ruling states.
"No wonder these pious church members had to lure her into a filthy manure-soiled barn, hold her down physically for over four hours, chant terrifying mumbo-jumbo at her, threaten her with incarceration in a luncatic asylum if she ever told the police and then release her after the poisoning demons had finally exited her mind."
The case may now go to the United States Supreme Court.
